BUDGET
Director, Gas Relief and
Rehabilitation is the Budget Controlling Authority for the Bhopal Gas Tragedy Relief and
Rehabilitation Department. Presently there are ten Drawing and Disbursing
Officers under the Directorate of Gas Relief and Rehabilitation who are responsible for
incurring the expenditure as per the budget approved for the Department.

Capital Region, Public Works Department, Bhopal.
For the year
2008-09, a
budget provision for Rs. 44.99 crores has been made for the Department
out of which allotment has been received for Rs. 42.10 crores from the Finance Department by the budget
controlling authority. The allotted budget has been released to the concerned
Drawing and Disbursing Officer for the year with month wise ceiling.
