Gender Budget

Government of Madhya Pradesh has started Gender Budgeting in year 2007-08 for 13 Departments. We have brought 21 within this purview as given below. Gender Budget is presented as separate Volume. Gender Budget has categoried the following departments into two categories

1st Category - Programme which have 100 percent budget provisions for Women.

2nd Category - Programmes which have a minimum 30 percent or more of the budget provisions for Women

In the year 2008, the Finance Department has introduced "Gender Budget" for women on the basis of Nonplan and Plan outlays for the following departments.
