The Institute is Situated at the Distance of 5 km from the Khargone district's popular city Maheshwar and is called as Govt. Collge Mandleshwar. 

The institute was started in 1982 with the help of the great effort of the former MLA Mr. Sitaram Sadho. The area is basically consists of ST / SC's category therefore mostly the students of ST/SC's categories or the backward categories do comes there for education.

      the classes of M.A and M.Com. were also started with the help of the Ex. MLA Miss. Dr. Vijaylakshmi Sadho SC   (kabina minister)/ medical studies minister.

With a view to the development of the institute the institute is making effort towards the development of the students.
