Admission Eligibility & Examination

  • Admissions to all programmes of study will be given as per the guidelines provided by the Department of Higher Education, Government of Madhya Pradesh.

  • The Principal will declare number of seats for each class at the beginning of the session.

  • Admissions and allocation of subjects as desired by the student will be made strictly on the basis of merit taking into consideration the marks obtained by the candidate in the last eligibility examination.

  • The list of successful candidates will be put up for display on the College Notice Board. No individual notice will be given. Students should see the notice boards regularly.

  • Last date of admission for each class will be displayed on College Notice Board.

  • Admission to II & III year degree courses for students from other institution will be given on the basis of merit and only if seats are available after giving admission to regular students of this College.

  • Maximum age limit for admission to undergraduate classes is 22 years and for postgraduate classes (previous year) is 25 years.

  • Relaxation of age up to three years is permissible for students belonging to SC, ST and OBC categories. For women candidates, age is no bar.

  • Reservation of Seats

    • Scheduled Castes : 16%
    • Scheduled Tribes : 20%
    • Other Backward Classes : 14%
    • Handicapped & Freedom Fighter : 03%

  • Till the last date of admission if candidates of reserved category are not available then the reserved seats will be made available for the candidates of the General Category.

  • Examination of all the programmes is conducted by the Rani Durgawati University, Jabalpur (M. P.).
