Govt. Tilak P. G. College conducts multiple games & sports activities with the strong belief 'Healthy mind needs a healthy body'. It is matter of pride and previledge that a company of NCC was established with a motto "Unity & Discipline" and aims to develop qualities of character, courage, comradeship, leadership, discipline, secular outlook and sportmanship transforming them into useful citizen of the country. Disha, the college magazine is published every year. The magazine provides opportunity to the students to fetch their creative trust. The students interested in creative writing may contact Prof. Ashok Shrivastava. 

Apart from the formal education councelling and guidance for self employment and career enhancement is provided by the cell. Guidance to the students is provided by the Dr. Smt. Chitra Prabhat.

NSS cadats are 'Soliders without uniform' for the upliftment of society with qualities of a social worker. They have ability to provide leadership, are disciplined as well as creative. Students with these attributes may contact Prof. V. K. Dewedi to be an active participatant of NSS.

Like education, debate, essay and creative writing etc help students to give outlet to their thoughts and groom their talents in the literary field. Throughout the year, such activities are conducted on various Jayantis, special Days and Occasions.Dr. Mrs. Pratima Tripathi is incharge of the literary activities.

Every year youth festival at various levels are held in colleges and universities. Cultural fine arts and literary competitions are a part of them. Cultural activities encourage and provide proper opportunities to students to recognise and develop their talent potential. Dr. Mrs. Madhuri Garg provides guidance to all such activities and organises them throughout the session.

This College is running various courses of IGNOU like B.A., B.Com., M.Com., B.P.P., M.H.D., M.H.A., C.F.S., C.N.C.C., C.F.N., C.P.L.T.. 24 Students are registered by this college in IGNOU. Dr. Mrs. Chitra Prabhat provides guidance for all various courses of IGNOU.
