This College is one of the most reputed colleges of M.P. situated in Dashera maidan, well connected with main roads and away from the chaos of the city, in a huge and elegant building. The college is declared as Center of excellence for higher education. The college was started in the building of Vijayaraje Girls Higher secondary School Freeganj in 1959. It was shifted in its present building in 1963. This college imparts education to the college girls under faculties of Arts, Science and Home Science approved by the university and it is on the path to excel after having achieved different stages of its developments.

This college expects hard work from the admission aspiring students. College runs post graduate classes in 13 Subjects. There are 10 subjects are  also being  teaching  at under graduate level as Self finance course.

Science Faculty

Compulsory Subject - Foundation course approved by the university.

Seats Available for the previous year of the post graduation classes are as under.

Arts Faculties

Total 250 Seats are available in B.A. Part-I. Choice  of Subjects are as under : -

5. Psychology
6 English Literature / Home Science (Any One)
7.Hindi Literature / Marathi
8.Sanskrit

Student Who opt  for Drawing and Music, Sociology is compulsory for them. Subject will be given on the basis of time table. Choice of subject will be on the merit base.

Note :- Not more that two subjects having practical will be given to students.

Seats in any subject will be filled on the based of merit.

Home Science

30 Seats are available for B.H.Sc. Part 1,2 and 3 .

Admission to the students in optional subjects will be given on the basis of merit and available seats. Subject in B.A. Part 2 and 3 will remain the same as were in B.A. Ist year. Private candidates can select only those subjects and papers which are taught in the college.

Admission to the post graduate classes will be given on the basis of merit and marks secured in under graduate class and according to rules of department of higher education, M.P. Government.

Details of reserved seats for Admission

Relaxation in the admission rules is given to the students belonging to the S.C / S.T. / O.B.C./Physically Handicapped and dependents of freedom fighters according to govt. rules. For this students are required to submit prescribed certificates.

Last Date for Submission of Admission Form

Admission form for undergraduate class can be  submitted within 15 days after declaration of 10+2 results of M.P Board and for post graduation classes within 15 days after declaration of result of Final year of under graduate classes of Vikram University. Admissions are renewed for other classes. Students are required to be present in the college from the first day of the opening of the college.

Information about presence of student

Students having less than 75 % attendance are not permitted to appear in annual examinations. For this an Affidavit from the guardian / parents of the students is required. Examination are conducted by the Vikram University, Ujjain.
