In a compact multi-storied building, the academy has spacious, air-conditioned
and well equipped learning centres. It has ten classrooms, an auditorium, two conference
hall, a mini-conference hall, an audio-visual room, two syndicate rooms, a board room and four
well equipped computer laboratories. The auditorium can accommodate 160 persons, the
conference hall 100 persons, the mini-conference hall 60 persons and the classrooms 35 persons.

There is
a well-equipped library with an air-conditioned reading hall and video viewing
facilities. It has around 32,100 books on different subjects in English and Hindi. In addition,
newspapers, journal and magazines on a wide variety of subjects are available. There are
also a large number of video cassettes related to different areas of learning available in
the library.
Membership of the
library is available to the trainees, the internal and external faculty and to the members
of the civil service residing in Bhopal. For the external faculty and for the members of
the civil service, membership is available by applying in a prescribed form and on payment of the prescribed membership fee
.

The Academy has boarding and lodging facilities for 259 participants. It has a hostel with 205
air cooled rooms. All the rooms are provided with hot water either through a solar heating
unit or through geysers. Every room is provided with necessary linen and blankets.
Purified drinking water is provided. On account of the prevalence of mosquitoes in Bhopal,
each room is provided with a mosquito repellant electrical unit using mats. The rooms are
also sprayed regularly for getting rid of the mosquitoes. Mosquito nets are also provided

The participant are provided daily newspapers. The hostel has a VIP lounge
and an ordinary lounge with Cable TV facilities. Internet facilities are also available. There is a
Doctor's Room where a Medical Specialist sits every evening from 5.30-6.00 p.m. Outside
the hostel there are open lawns and gardens.
Mess
The Mess has three dining halls and an Executive Dining Hall. At a time 300
people can be served food. Each participant is required to pay Rs.65 per day for breakfast and dinner. Lunch and tea are provided to the
participants from the course fee. For non-participants lunch is provided at Rs.45 per
head. Meals are served during the following timings:

Consumption of alcohol in the hostel is
strictly prohibited. Participants are not permitted to stay with guests in the hostel.
The academy has an
airconditioned Guest House with eight suites. For guests other than
academy guests a
suite is available on request for Rs. 600 per day. In case of
vacancy 4 rooms can be spared for guest of participants on payment rates.
The academy has four computer labs with 200 terminals loaded with Windows and MS
Office. All the machines are on the Local Area Network of the academy with INTERNET
facility. All the faculty of the academy is provided with computers and is on the LAN of
the academy. They also have access to INTERNET.
Presently computer training is compulsory for the trainees of the Foundation and Induction
courses. The academy has taken the responsibility of training all the officers of
the State Government to achieve the desired goals and objectives of State IT Policy.
Inputs in computers are also provided in other courses of the academy.

The academy
has a sports complex comprising an indoor synthetic badminton court, a squash court, two
tennis clay courts, table tennis room, a mini gym, a volleyball ground and a yoga
centre. The facilities which include provision of rackets, balls and synthetic shuttle-cocks are available to
the trainees. Application forms and rules of the Sports Society are available with the sports
in-charge. The sports timings are as follows:
