Gram sabhas in rural areas and local bodies in urban areas carried out identification from amongst the poor families within the state. |

| 9 | Mechanism | GOI has given financial allotment of 8.02 crore Rupees which is used to purchase foodgrain from FCI. This foodgrain is then channelised by MPSCSC through normal TPDS system and the destitute get it from PDS shops free of cost. |
