In case the passport application is not complete in all respects, objection letters are despatched to the applicants by post . The objections can also be viewed on the website by clicking Status of Application. In such cases, please meet the Passport Officer, if necessary,  as per the timings given in the website or send the required documents by post quoting the  File Reference Number of the application.

Applications sent by post are not accepted w.e.f. 06/10/2009.

After receiving the Passport, please go through all the particulars written in it carefully. If  any discrepancy in the particulars written in the passport booklet and the application form  submitted, please write an application addressed to Passport Officer, Bhopal mentioning the mistake(s) / discrepancies and meet him for rectification of the mistake(s). The same may be sent by post also.

In case your passport has been returned undelivered to Passport Office, Bhopal, please meet the Passport Officer with residential proof in original and original cash receipt issued by the office at the time of submission.
